Don’t sleep on the fact that Miles has two supportive parents who only want what’s best for him and is willing to give him the space when he needs it and will be there when he’s ready
(It may not seem like a big deal but most kids can’t even get THAT)
Oh yeah and his Dad’s a Police Officer and Moms a Nurse(I just LOVED that)
Don’t sleep on the fact that Miles Morales is fluent in Spanish too and is a loved member in his little community of Brooklyn that’s blooming with all races
Don’t sleep on the fact that Miles didn’t win some “lottery” to get into that private school, he ACED the entrance exams AND purposely tried to flunk tests by picking nothing but wrong answers because he KNEW the right answers so he could go back to the school with his community
Don’t sleep on the fact that this boy was able to do what he didn’t even know was possible when the time was right because he just knew
Don’t sleep on the fact that what makes Spider-Man so Amazing and important was that his mask let everyone think that it was possible that it could be someone like them under that mask

I know Malavai in game is often depicted as the Empires #1 Yes-man, but maybe its because on the job he’s so unflinchingly dedicates to his role, a servant to the Empire and Sith, that I just really like concept of him as a dom. And I mean that in a true BDSM sense.
Cause like, a good dom is still not actually in charge. A good dom is there to help construct and play out the subs desires, to keep the play on track. The control is entirely illusionary, it has to be, because otherwise it pushes both (or all) participants into a dangerous place. Its a balance I feel Quinn would exceed at maintaining: he gets his time to be in charge, but also at the end of the day, he’s still in a providing/service role. So, personally, I find that concept perfect for Quinn. Its a role reversal from his normal waking life, a position of power in a society, albeit in private (tho I have /thoughts/) that he’d never be able to rule. But like, especially as he talks about Broysc, I think its clear Quinn chafes under constantly being subservient; its something too ingrained for him to wholly abandon, but he flourishes when he’s given his own reigns and allowed to accomplish directives without micromanaging. And even then, he goes above and beyond because he can, and he takes serious pride in that (as with capturing the jedi on Balmorra).
And like too I gotta be real, Zhaire is a huge sub. She spends so much of her life in control of herself, commanding some position, crew, or, as with the Alliance, like a whole army, that for her to give that up for a time, to play at being under someone elses control, is very thrilling to her. And I feel like for Sith society, if strength and power lead to freedom, the idea of willing submission, even outside of sexual scenario, would be delectibly taboo.
I fully admit I like this idea so much cause of how I view Zhaire & Quinns relationship. Zhaire’s accutely aware as she becomes interested in him (even before shes accidentally in love) of their inherit imbalances. Shes a old-family, wealthy, Sith, and he’s force-blind, as well as constrained by the social structure of other Imperials which reinforces their subservient position to the Sith. Indeed Id say a lot of her affection and interest comes from the respect she has as they talk about their ideas and reactions as equals. So everything about their relationship is tied up nicely (pun 200% intended) with balancing Zhaires moments of command in public, with Quinns moments of command in private. Also also Zhaire actually has a bondage kink among other things so like she just wants to be a naughty girl sometimes.
